Fernanda Reis Guimaraes serves as the Assistant Academic Advisor for Track and Field at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes. Fernanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Eckerd College, where she competed as a student-athlete on the women’s volleyball team. She holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Human Resource Development and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration, both from Louisiana State University.
 
Fernanda began her journey at CCACSA in 2021 as a Graduate Assistant, supporting student-athletes across multiple sports. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she is passionate about guiding student-athletes through their academic and personal development.
