The Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes building was a $15 million dollar project completed in 2002. This 54,000 square foot facility is among the nation's premier academic centers. Continual improvements to this facility gives LSU student-athletes the best opportunity for success by providing access to the latest technology, nutrition, and cutting edge design.

Today, we serve over 500 student-athletes within the areas of academic support services, personal development workshops, career development workshops, and community outreach initiatives. We also house one of three LSU E.D.G.E locations providing nutrition to hungry minds.

The Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes actively evolves the design of our building to maximize our mission of challenging student-athletes to achieve their highest level of intellectual and personal development. In 2014, we launched our newly renovated Tutorial Center doubling our hourly capacity for tutoring appointments to over 1800 per week.
