Faulkner serves as the Manager of Student Learning in the Cox Academic Center for Student-Athletes. Previously, Carli served as a Learning Specialist for two years here at LSU working with student-athletes. Prior to her role as Learning Specialist she served in various roles for the CCACSA while completing the requirements to earn her Master of Arts in Sports Administration, including serving as a tutorial graduate assistant where she assisted in working with various faculty members, along with recruitment tutorial tours for prospective student-athletes for the LSU football program. While also completing her tutoring duties, she helped develop interactive games to be used during sessions to further help student-athletes.
 
Carli is a former student-athlete from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she played on the Patriot softball team for two seasons after spending the previous two at Louisiana College. She was a three-time selection on the American Southwest Conference All-Academic team, earning the ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor while being a three-time Dean's List selection and NFCA Scholar All-American. She was on two conference championship winning teams, including making it to the Division III Women's College World Series where the team finished fourth overall. Before moving on to college, Faulkner played for former LSU softball great Ashlee Ducote at Parkview Baptist, where she earned a state runner-up finish in 2009 that led to first team all-metro and all-state honors.
