Isabella Braga

Isabella Braga joined the LSU Cox Academic Center for Student-Athletes as a Learning Specialist in January 2024. Braga works with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds to build their academic skills and become successful independent learners.

Before joining the staff at LSU, she was an Assistant Learning Specialist and Learning Specialist at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also served as an Academic Aide with student-athletes at the University of Richmond while working towards her master's degree. Prior to that she worked for Duke University Athletics as an Iron Dukes Assistant and Iron Dukes Annual Fund Assistant. She also completed a service year with the AmeriCorps program, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Originally from Lincoln, Rhode Island, Braga graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She received her Master of Sport Leadership degree from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Center for Sport Leadership.
