Justin joins the ACSA staff Assistant Director of Academics for football after spending some time at the University of Oklahoma as a Senior Advisor for football and women's tennis. Prior to his time in Norman, Justin also spent time at Gonzaga University an Academic Coordinator working with men's basketball, men’s golf, women’s track & field, and women’s tennis.
 
Before going to Gonzaga, Justin was at Ball State University for 3 ½ years where he was advisor for women’s track & field and softball for a time but spent majority of his time there as advisor for football.  He helped the Cardinals football team achieve 2 of the highest semesters gpa’s they’ve ever had and was given the 12th man award by Head Coach Mike Neu and the rest of the football staff for all of the time and effort put into the team.
 
Prior to Ball State University, Justin also had stints at the University of Alabama and Savannah State University. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Justin received his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science & Software engineering from Kentucky State University where he was a member of the football team and earned his Masters of Science in Intercollegiate Athletics from Western Kentucky University. Pugh is also an active member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and devotes time to various community service organizations.
